1. Are pets allowed? / ¿Admiten mascotas?

Yes. Pets (dogs and cats) are welcome with an additional charge of $25 USD per night, charged in pesos at the daily exchange rate.

2. Are you near the beach? / ¿Están cerca de la playa?

Yes. Quinta Maria Cortez is beachfront, located on the exclusive Conchas Chinas coastline.

Access:
You enter Quinta Maria Cortez and Casa Tres Vidas from Sagitario Street, at the rear of the property, approximately five levels above the beach. You can descend the stairs to the beach via the gate at Quinta Maria Cortez or the beach door at Casa Tres Vidas.

La entrada a Quinta Maria Cortez y Casa Tres Vidas es por la calle Sagitario, en la parte posterior de la propiedad, aproximadamente cinco niveles arriba de la playa. Puede descender por las escaleras y salir a la playa por el cancel de Quinta Maria Cortez o por la puerta de Casa Tres Vidas.

3. Can you swim in front of QMC/CTV? / ¿Se puede nadar frente al hotel?

Swimming depends on sea conditions. There is a sandy beach in front of the property, but there are also rocks in the water.

  • Calm conditions: Swimming and snorkeling are possible.

  • Rough conditions: Waves can be strong and it becomes unsafe to swim directly in front of the hotel.

Tip: You can walk less than five minutes north or south to find beaches with fewer rocks.

4. Can you walk to town? / ¿Se puede caminar al centro?

Yes, but only during daylight and on the beach.
It is approximately a 15-minute walk to Playa Los Muertos, depending on your pace. Near Playa Los Muertos, you must climb a short path over rocks (about 75–100 feet). If you are not comfortable walking, we recommend taking a taxi.

Important:

  • Do not walk on the highway (Mexico 200). It is busy and has no sidewalk.

  • Do not walk at night. The path can be dark and uneven.

5. Do you have a restaurant and/or bar on property? / ¿Tienen restaurante y bar?

Yes. We are proud to offer La’Ola Restaurant, our on-property oceanfront restaurant and bar. La’Ola serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, with menus that highlight fresh local ingredients and authentic flavors.

Guests also have access to our private beach club, which offers loungers and daily bar service.

All suites at Quinta Maria Cortez include a refrigerator and/or kitchenette. Additional refreshments can also be purchased in town or at the nearby OXXO convenience store on the main highway, within walking distance.

Sí. Contamos con La’Ola Restaurant, nuestro restaurante y bar frente al mar, ubicado en la propiedad. La’Ola ofrece desayuno, comida y cena todos los días, con menús que destacan ingredientes locales frescos y sabores auténticos.

Los huéspedes también tienen acceso a nuestro club de playa privado, que ofrece camastros y servicio de bar diario.

Todas las suites en Quinta Maria Cortez cuentan con refrigerador y/o kitchenette. También puede comprar bebidas adicionales en el pueblo o en la tienda OXXO cercana en la carretera principal, a poca distancia.

6. Do you have an airport shuttle? / ¿Tienen traslado al aeropuerto?

7. Do you have an elevator? / ¿Tienen elevador?

No. Quinta Maria Cortez and Casa Tres Vidas are built into the beachfront cliff and include multiple levels and stairs. The property is equivalent to a 10-story building.

The best suites to minimize stairs are Ana Gabriela and Barbara, located near street level, one level above the main Sala area.

8. Is breakfast included? / ¿El desayuno está incluido?

Yes. Breakfast is included for all direct reservations.
Breakfast is not included for reservations made through third-party websites.

Breakfast is served in the La’Ola dining area, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Yes. We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Password will be provided at check-in.

10. What does “Open to the Ocean” mean? / ¿Qué significa “Open to the Ocean”?

Many of the living areas in QMC and CTV are open to the ocean, meaning they have no windows or doors and are fully open to the sea breeze. Bedrooms have doors and windows for privacy and air-conditioning when needed.

Muchas áreas de convivencia en QMC y CTV están “Open to the Ocean”, lo que significa que no tienen ventanas ni puertas y están abiertas al mar. Los dormitorios tienen puertas y ventanas para privacidad y para usar aire acondicionado cuando sea necesario.

11. Why do you request arrival information? / ¿Por qué solicitan la información de llegada?

We are a small boutique hotel with only 22 rooms. We request arrival information so our team can be prepared to welcome you and ensure a smooth check-in.

Check-in hours: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Early/late check-in: Available only if coordinated in advance.

  • Late check-in fee: $20 USD (9:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

  • After 11:00 PM: $30 USD
